Selebi - Phikwe Airport

Selebi-Phikwe Airport (IATA: PKW, ICAO: FBSP) is a small public airport located approximately 12 kilometers southeast of Selebi-Phikwe town in Botswana’s Central District. Managed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana, the airport primarily serves domestic charter flights and private aircraft, particularly those traveling to tourism destinations like the nearby Tuli Block. It features a single asphalt runway (12/30) measuring about 1,780 meters in length and sits at an elevation of 2,925 feet above sea level. While it does not currently host scheduled commercial flights, the airport plays a critical role in connecting remote safari lodges and supporting regional air travel. Facilities are modest, offering basic passenger services such as check-in, waiting areas, car rentals, and light refreshments.
