The Serowe Extreme Bikers Club
The Serowe Extreme Bikers Club is a prominent motorcycle and off-road racing organization based in Serowe, Botswana. Affiliated with the Botswana Motor Sport (BMS), the club comprises approximately 15 to 20 riders and is renowned for organizing high-profile motorsport events that attract both local and national attention.
One of the club’s most notable events is the “Mma Besi 200km” off-road challenge, which debuted in 2016. This event was distinguished as the second most significant off-road race in Botswana, following the Kalahari 1000 desert race. The Mma Besi 200km challenge not only showcased thrilling competition among top teams like Yamaha, Castrol, and Full Taps but also contributed to the local economy and promoted tourism in Serowe. The race route was meticulously planned to cover 70% of the Serowe ward, allowing spectators from various villages to witness the excitement firsthand.
