The Botswana Swimming Sports Association (BSSA)

The Botswana Swimming Sports Association (BSSA) serves as the national governing body for swimming and other aquatic sports in Botswana. Established in 2005, BSSA is affiliated with the Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC), the Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC), World Aquatics (formerly FINA), and Africa Aquatics (CANA).
BSSA oversees a network of swimming clubs across the country, representing over 600 registered swimmers. The association has played a pivotal role in developing swimming in Botswana, with athletes participating in international competitions, including the Olympics .
