Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital (Public)

Established in 1989, Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital is a prominent healthcare institution under the Government of Botswana. Located in Francistown, the country’s second-largest city, the hospital boasts a capacity of 550 beds, with the Internal Medicine Department accommodating between 120 to 150 beds. It is integrated with the government of Botswana’s database system, ensuring seamless access to healthcare information.

The hospital’s 24-hour emergency department is equipped to serve both adult and pediatric patients. It comprises various specialized departments, including a Rehabilitation Centre, pharmacy, anti-retroviral treatment for HIV/AIDS patients, post-trauma counseling services, occupational services, as well as laundry, kitchen, and mortuary facilities.

These services support several wards within the hospital, including male and female medical wards, a private ward, and an isolation ward. Additionally, Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital features an annex with approximately 550 beds and essential medical equipment for conducting a range of diagnostic tests.
