Motsana Centre & The Arts Café is a striking two‐storey Moroccan‐inspired complex nestled on Shorobe Road in Matlapaneng, just outside Maun. Designed as a cultural hub, its architectural highlights include a spacious open courtyard lined with sun‐baked walls and archways, which embrace natural light and invite gentle breezes. At the heart of this ensemble sits The Arts Café, a petite yet vibrant spot where visitors can savour freshly brewed coffee, homemade pastries, and a selection of light breakfast and lunch options while admiring local artworks on display .

Beyond its café offerings, Motsana Centre pulses with creative energy through a diverse calendar of events and activities. The centre houses two elaborate dance studios where regular classes in contemporary, traditional, and fitness‐based dance are held. In addition, a live theatre stage and open‐air movie nights under the starlit Botswana sky bring performing arts to life. On the last Sunday of each month, the courtyard transforms into a bustling farmers’ market, showcasing fresh produce, handmade crafts, and musical performances, making every visit an immersive cultural experience .
