Morula School
Morula School, established in January 1992 with an initial enrolment of 65 students, has grown into a thriving educational institution with a current enrollment of 289 pupils from diverse cultural backgrounds, with over half of the students being citizens of Botswana. The school, which started with a small team led by the first Headmaster, Mr. Paddy Page-Wood, has since seen leadership transitions, with the current headship held by Mr. Peter D’Arcy.
From the outset, Morula School has been dedicated to serving the community, a core value that continues to guide its development and mission. This commitment to service has shaped the school’s growth and its focus on excellence in education. Morula School has achieved outstanding results in the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE), a testament to the dedication of the teaching staff and the school’s original objectives.
In 2001, the school expanded to include a High School, which began with 11 pupils. The school follows the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum, administered by Cambridge University. The first cohort of students sat for their IGCSE “O” level exams in 2004, marking a significant milestone in the school’s growth. With a team of 21 teachers and 11 support staff, Morula School continues to provide a high-quality education focused on academic excellence, community service, and holistic student development.
