​MicroTeck Enterprises (Pty) Ltd., established in 2004, is Botswana’s oldest homegrown Internet Service Provider (ISP), dedicated to connecting communities and fostering growth across the nation. Over the past two decades, MicroTeck has expanded its services to both rural and urban areas, offering reliable internet and value-added services. Their network infrastructure includes an expanding LTE network and a robust fiber MPLS core, demonstrating their commitment to technological evolution.​

Headquartered in Gaborone, MicroTeck operates nationwide, building national infrastructure to connect Botswana globally, serving both multinational corporations and households. Their service offerings include various 4G internet packages such as 4G MAX 1, 4G MAX 2, 4G MAX 3, and 4G WiMAX. ​

In February 2021, user experiences with MicroTeck’s network reported average download speeds of 1.29 Mb/s, upload speeds of 0.12 Mb/s, and ping latency of 605 ms. Despite these metrics, MicroTeck remains committed to bridging the digital divide and bringing faster, stronger connections.
