Maru-a-Pula School (Secondary)
MaP, a co-educational, independent day and boarding secondary school, has been a beacon of educational excellence since its inception in 1972. Established as a non-profit trust, the school is situated on 50 acres of land generously donated by the Botswana Government, reflecting a commitment to fostering educational opportunities for all.
Founded by Deane Yates, MaP is built on the ideals of multiracial inclusivity and community outreach. These foundational principles guide the institution’s mission to provide a diverse and enriching learning environment. With a focus on academic rigor and personal growth, MaP nurtures students to become well-rounded individuals prepared to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond. The school’s dedication to inclusivity and social responsibility ensures that it not only educates but also empowers its students to be agents of change in an interconnected world.
