Our guests are taken to see our colony of habituated Meerkats who live on the edge of the Ntwetwe salt pan. These Meerkats are human habituated and this therefore gives our guests a once in a life time opportunity to observe their natural behaviours and charming personalities from almost touching distance!

Located in the quiet village of Gweta. Gweta Lodge is an oasis on the doorstep of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. Gweta Lodge features a bar, restaurant, swimming pool, relaxed seating areas, campsite and free WIFI. The lodge is situated only a short distance from the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, consequently making Gweta lodge the gateway to the Makgadikgadi salt pans. On the pans  you can visit the very entertaining Meerkats, see the impressive Baobab trees and the incredible biodiversity of the region.
