ConceroTel

ConceroTel Pty Ltd, established in 2010, is a telecommunications company based in Gaborone, Botswana. It was formed through a 50/50 equity partnership between ConceroTel Australia and Decibel Enterprises Botswana, a 100% citizen-owned company. The company specialises in satellite communications and wireless networks, catering to individuals, enterprises, government entities, the mining industry, and customers in remote and emerging regions. Notably, ConceroTel has constructed a satellite hub in Botswana and developed a wireless network within the country.

In 2017, ConceroTel launched CENE Media, a retail Internet Service Provider (ISP) brand, offering services throughout Gaborone and other regions in Botswana. The company has also established a partnership with BOFINET, the government-owned fiber backbone network provider, to roll out Wi-Fi hotspots nationwide.

As of 2021, ConceroTel Botswana ranked 11th among 42 ISPs in Botswana, with average download speeds of 2.39 Mb/s, upload speeds of 2.56 Mb/s, and a ping latency of 435 ms. The company operates under Autonomous System Number (ASN) 327830, managing 3,072 IPv4 addresses and hosting 72 domains. ConceroTel Botswana’s mission is to provide superior digital connectivity experiences, aiming to become the leading African provider of digital connectivity.
