Botswana Taekwondo Federation

Botswana Taekwondo Federation serves as the national governing body for taekwondo in Botswana. It is officially recognised by the Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) and the Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC). The Federation’s current structure was established around 2012, with its early initiatives focused on grassroots development. These included introducing taekwondo to children as young as six years old to build a sustainable athlete pipeline, establishing clubs in different regions, and training coaches to expand the sport’s reach across the country.
