Taurus Batteries was first established in 1975 and we are very proud to be a 100% citizen owned company. We are a family owned business and believe in the strong unity and dependence of family and team. Interesting to note is that our Managing Director started off in this company by loading and offloading batteries from trucks and driving to deliver batteries for the customers. The attitude of “Hard Work Pays” is the motto throughout our group and the continued dedication to the company and the employees have enabled us to achieve a vibrant and efficient team who share in our vision for the future.

The company supplies automotive batteries, starter motors, alternators, lights, cables, and other mechanical and electrical components, and also provides battery fitting, auto electrical repairs, vehicle air-conditioning servicing, and installation of car audio and alarm systems. By combining quality parts with professional maintenance services, Taurus Batteries supports both individual motorists and commercial clients in keeping their vehicles reliable and well-maintained.

Throughout the years, as our business has continued to grow, we have ventured further and further throughout Botswana and now have many branches around the country.
